«Krabbedans Exhibition»

Otro de los lugares muy recomendados de ir si estás durante estos días por Eindhoven, es la tienda Krabbedans. Ahí nos encontramos una exposición principalmente de diseño de moda y textil, aunque también hay diseño gráfico y de producto de por medio.

Entre otras cosas podemos ver trajes hechos con medias o zapatos de látex. Vestidos muy elaborados con pequeñas piezas y tejidos no muy corrientes.

Esta tienda está situada justo detrás de la Design Academy así que es un recorrido ideal si estás por la zona.

Another highly recommended place to go if you are these days in Eindhoven, is the Krabbedans Shop. Here we can see mostly an exhibition of fashion and textiles design, but there is a little bit of graphic and product design mixed too.

Among other things we can see suits made with tights or latex shoes. Also a very elaborate dresses made with a lot of small pieces and uncommon fabrics.

This store is located just behind the Design Academy and it is an ideal route if you're in the area.

«Dutch design week # day 1»

El 23 de Octubre empezó la semana del diseño aquí en Eindhoven. Durante el primer día fuimos a la Design Academy a ver el espectáculo de graduación de los alumnos de este año. Hay tanto por ver que cuando nos dimos cuenta que era la hora de cerrar, sólo habíamos visto media planta de dos que hay. Así, nos tuvimos que ir a otra parte y dejar el resto de la exposición para otro día.

Estos días hay muchísimos eventos y exposiciones en magníficos espacios (prácticamente todos son edificios están sin terminar) por toda la ciudad, así que voy a ir poniendo más fotografías para iros mostrando lo que están creando las jóvenes promesas del diseño holandés y la tan ya conocida Dutch Design Week.

The 23th of October started the Design Week here in Eindhoven. During the first day we went to the Design Academy to see the graduation show of this year. There's so much to see and when we realized that it was the closing time, we only had seen half floor from two that are. So we had to go elsewhere and leave the rest of the exhibition for another day.

These days there are so many wonderful events and exhibitions spaces (almost all are unfinished buildings) throughout the city, so I'm going to put more pictures showing what are creating the young Dutch design promises, and from the already known Dutch Design Week.

«Wood necklaces collection»

Aquí esta la colección de collares que he hecho con las piezas de madera que compré en la tienda de 2a mano el fín de semana pasado.

«Saturday morning»

Hoy por la mañana hemos aprovechado para ir a unas tiendas enormes de segunda mano. No quería comprar nada pero es imposible salir de ahí con nada!! es todo tan barato!!! Al final he acabado comprando unas piezas de madera para hacerme un collar, unas hojas de letraset y un gorro precioso, todo por menos de 10 euros!

Seguro que volvemos!

This morning we have gone to some huge second hand shops. I didn't want to buy anything but it's impossible to leave there without anything!! Everything it's very cheap!!! Finally I ended up buying some pieces of wood to make a necklace, some sheets of letraset and a hat very beautiful, all for less than 10 euros!

For sure we'll come back!

«Some music comes from the cellar»

Este es el diseño que he hecho recientemente para el último CD de Davic Nod! Él hace música electrónica muy buena, ha estado como artista en el festival internacional de música electrónica SÓNAR y dirige una asociación cultural llamada LoudMusic, en Barcelona. Éste proyecto surge con la idea de formar una comunidad de músicos interesados en el uso de la tecnología en el ámbito de la creación y la interpretación musical.

DAVIC Nod es un artista que reside en Barcelona, trabaja en su casa y ha estado creando música desde hace 10 años. En estos últimos años su música ha experimentado una gran evolución y es cada vez más y más interesante. El título del disco es "Some music comes from the cellar", se compone de 6 canciones y un bonus track, el tema original de la canción Mi Nube de Gabriela Parra.

This is the design I've done recently to the latest CD of Davic Nod! He makes very good electronic music, has been as an artist on the international festival of electronic music SÓNAR and has created a cultural association called LoudMusic in Barcelona. This project comes with the idea of forming a community of musicians interested in using technology in the field of musical creation and performance.

Davic Nod is a based artist from Barcelona, he works in his home and he has been creating music since 10 years ago. In this latest years his music has experimented a great evolution and is becoming more and more interesting. The album title is "Some music you comes from the cellar" consists of 6 songs and a bonus track, the original song of the mix Mi Nube from Gabriela Parra.
